All about my speech

Everybody from my class already presented their speeches I was the last one from my class to present my speech to everyone.I Was so quiet when I was presenting my speech.

The things I that I did good in my speech is that I made some eye contact to the audience and I think that I had some good facts.

In this video of my speech you could not hear me you could only hear my voice like I am whispering. my speech is about look after the environment

After I finished my speech I had lots and lots of comments from my teacher and from the students in my class.

everyone in my class said that i good fact but I need to speak louder.My teacher said the same thing which was that I had good facts but I need to speak louder.The comments that I got from everyone is to speak louder and what i thought is to speak louder next time.

Everyone said that I need to speak louder but do think that I need to speak louder?

In room 14 we have been reading this book called wonder and we finally finished reading that book.
I think that you should read that book because that is a really good book which is funny too.

This book is kind of about schools and its a little bit about getting jealous and showing off too.
This is a really good book to read and it takes a very long tome to finish reading this book because it has lots of chapters.
Can you believe that it took our class nearly a year to finish reading the book?
This book has a lots of chapters and there are different kinds of stories in each chapters.
I want you to read this book even if its fun or not.
In this book I leaned that you should treat everyone the same.
Its sad that August likes to wear a mask in Halloween so that he can hide his face.
Imagine if you were like august,will you feel the same?
Do you feel like reading this book?
Its a really good book so you should read it and I recommend  it to schools that has a person like august and they tease him this book is like a life lesson hope you read it thank you.

Last week we had amazing and a wonderful art day.For art day we chose to sketch picture and paint is with water paint.Do you know how did the paint looks like?

The paint feels like water and its a colourful water. Do you know what I drew?

I drew a house with two flower trees next to it and I sketched the picture.

Magic water

Magic water is a side to explain about water and what happens.
I chose to explain about seven word about water and what happens about it.

Maths l

This term for maths we were learning about finding the volume for the  rectangular prism.
To find the volume of the the rectangular prism we need to see the length, width and the height of the rectangular prism to find the volume.Here is a picture of how we worked it out:

These were the  people in my group. Nejwa, Nikola, Ezekiel and myself, Lavanya we all tired to find the answer but we couldn't find the answer  because is was too hard. Last week we found the answer but it was wrong because we measure it wrong.Our mistake was we didn't start measuring from 0 cm.

Did you know that our teacher Mrs Moore even found the wrong answer but she fixed her mistake.

Do you know that collaborating makes everything easy and simple.

We had a code for all our boxes and our group was working on box e.

I just read your book and I really like your book. I am here to give you some feedback and ask you some questions. Why did you go away from your parents?

Why didn't you know that you are at the strangers house?

Why did you open the door for the old creepy lady to come inside?Why did you eat the apple?

You should have listened to Grumpy instead of the strangers.

You should have not eaten the apple from the old lady because you don't know her that much.

You are safe because of the Prince because he helped you.

Samoan language week

Last week at may road school  had Samoan language assembly
and we started the assembly with the Samoan national anthem.

for a Samoan so After the national anthem we had them dancing us ng and it was so cool.

 

Then we had another song and it was so so so cool.

After that we had them sitting down and dancing and it cool too.

It was so cool at the assembly.

voice recognition

Today I used voice recognition to comment on peoples blog so I commented on Nejwa's blog.
The thing that does is instead of typing you say to your Chromebook then it would write it for you.
The voice recoginition is very easy because it makes you do your work so quick.

Jump rope for heart

 Yesterday at May road school the kauri team had jump rope for heart and it was so cool because we had to be in groups.

In my group from my class there was only me and Ivorn.

 We have to move number by number in the clock wise.

My group was in number 4 and the thing we need to do in number 4 is we have to skip with a buddy.

 Look at Mary she making her way to the end at the relay race.

Look at Brandon he is trying to do skipping with the hula hoop.

It look like that its hard to do skipping with the hula hoop.

Look at Tyson and Savahn skipping , will they do one hundred skips?

Tennis lessons

 In our school we had tennis lessons and we learned how to play tennis, and it was so cool when we were having those tennis lessons.
Everyone was trying to keep the ball in the sweet spot but only some people had it on the sweet spot.

In our third tennis lesson we needed to be in partners and we needed to always keep the ball in the sweet spot,and pass it to the partner and it was kind of hard to do it.

   Ben is trying to keep his ball in the sweet spot.

We had a challenge to keep the ball in the sweet spot without moving it and with one leg up.

Most of the people couldn't keep it in the sweet spot and they were moving the ball around the racket. 

We learned a lot of things at tennis. We have had a great time at tennis and I feel like tennis is a little bit hard.

ANZAC Biscuits

We made some Anzac biscuits they were tasting so yummy when we were cooking we needed to cook in groups.
The things we need if we want to make Anzac biscuits are: coconut, golden syrup, oats, flour. baking soda.boiling water and butter.
We need to be careful when we are cooking because we might make a mistake. 

ANZAC ceremony

 

At May Road school we had Anzac ceremony. In the ceremony we herd some sad music that Miss Haydon was playing during the ceremony.And I  was feeling so sad because of that music.
We had Mrs Stuart reading a book for us and that book,It was cool but also sad. We had Phill Golf Talking to us about his family and that is important to him. Phill Golf was even talking about the people from his family that went to the war.

Book Tracks

Today it was cool because i read a book on book track and the name of the book was snow white.
It was cool because i get to read the book with the music there was sad musics /happy music and scary musics in the story.
The favourite part was when the scary sound came because the scary sound was cool and it was trilling.
When i was reading the book i felt so interested in reading that book because of the music.
